Appointed CEO of the bank as part of the restructuring to be in charge of modernising the bank and expanding its business. Was able in the first six months to totally restructure the bank  introducing new policies and procedures across the bank in credit, risk, treasury and operations. Made a major management change and appointed Heads for almost all the departments of the bank. On the other hand, introduced new products in Retail, Investment and Corporate Banking  which led to major and total turnaround in the bank and its profile in the market. As a result the banks total assets almost doubled  and the net operating profit has more than doubled from Mr. Hussein directly supervised the Treasury and Investment Department of the bank which included daily investments on  Stock Market. He also supervised the brokerage unit of the bank.
